Pantone Color of the Year 2018

This year Pantone chose “Ultra Violet” as 2018’s color. “A dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade, Ultra Violet communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future.”

I’m personally not a big fan of blue-purples. What’s your favorite color?

National Spaghetti Day

Today is National Spaghetti Day! In 2000, 1.3 million pounds of spaghetti were sold in American grocery stores. If all of those packages were lined up they would circle the Earth nine times!*

What’s your favorite kind of pasta?

Happy New Year!

Here’s to another year!

2017 was one of the best years I’ve had in a while. Crappy things happened, but the good made up for it. I got the opportunity to make new friends and build on my existing friendships, passed my practical state board and got my cosmetology license. Plus many other ups and downs.

How was your year?

Movie of the Month

This month’s movie is X-Men: Days of Future Past. I’ve always loved movies and TV shows about time travel.

If you watched it, let me know what you think in the comments.

Bible Museum Trip

My friends and I went to the Bible Museum a few days ago and it was so awesome! The place is huge. It was impossible to see everything in one visit. Here are some of the pictures I took.

It’s even more amazing in person. At the time of this post tickets are still free. If you plan on visiting DC soon I definitely recommend it. Do you like museums?

On December 7, 1787 Delaware became the first state to ratify the United States Constitution.

That’s why it’s nicknamed the First State.
