Life is a swirl…

On This Day in History – December 7

On December 7, 1787 Delaware became the first state to ratify the United States Constitution.

That’s why it’s nicknamed the First State.

Passing State Board

I finally passed my practical state board exam the other day! Third time really is the charm (this was my second retake). It was 3 and a half hours! I didn’t eat lunch until around 5pm, but it was worth it.

Once they send me instructions in the mail I’ll soon be an official licensed cosmetologist!

What’s the hardest test you’ve had to take?

National Stuffing Day

Today is National Stuffing Day! Technically, it’s supposed to be used to “stuff” a turkey, but I’ve always eaten it separately.

What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food?

Movie of the Month

Movie of the Month

This month’s movie is Mr and Mrs Smith. Hands down one of my favorite action movies. I’m still mourning the loss of Brad and Angelina’s relationship.

If you watched it, let me know what you think in the comments.

International Artist Day

International Artist Day was launched in 2004* to honor the contribution artists make to society. Below is some various art I got from my friends and online (bonus points if you can correctly guess which one I did).

Even though I don’t draw or paint much anymore, I still consider hairstyling an art.

What’s your favorite art form?
